What We Do

Through our various programs and initiatives, we aim to advance Mexican culture and folklore. From folklore dance classes to art workshops, we work to make a positive impact in the lives of the communities around Metro Detroit. Learn more about the work we do and how you can get involved

Dance Courses

Currently CasArt offers folkloric dance instruction and provides financial
aid to children and youth in our community. These classes are taught by a talented group of dancers from the Joyas de Mexico and Matices dance groups.

Art Workshops

These workshops are taught by a skilled group of volunteers such as painting, Mexican artcrafts, “cartoneria” (cardboard) and music to name a few.

Our plan for the near future is to create a cultural center to expand educational and
artistic activities and to offer a safe and welcoming space for our youth to express
themselves and explore our culture.
