Art Workshops and Cultural Crafts

CasArt Foundation offers art workshops led by a skilled group of volunteers.

These workshops provide hands-on experiences in painting, Mexican arts and crafts, cartonería, embroidery, knitting, papier-mâché, musical instruction, and photography.

Through these activities, participants explore creativity while connecting with cultural traditions in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Programs currently offered include:

Dance Programs:

  • Mambo
  • Bachata
  • Salsa

Arts & Cultural Workshops

  • Folkloric headdress workshops
  • Cultural arts education
  • Fine arts & creative workshops
  • Cultural modeling & garment design

Schedule

  • Salsa Classes: Mondays from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Folkloric Dance (Children): Mondays at 6:00 PM
  • Folkloric Dance (Adults): Tuesdays at 6:00 PM
  • Folkloric Dance (Youth): Thursdays at 6:00 PM
  • Additional workshop schedules vary monthly

Costs

Program costs are primarily supported through donations, community sponsorships, and collaborations with nonprofit organizations, the City of Pontiac, and other surrounding cities.

Some workshops and classes may be offered free of charge depending on community partnerships and cultural grants.
